It was a simple plan gone awry. Milton, a brilliant college dropout, was only supposed to cook meth for one day. Broken out of rehab by a brash young woman and her triggerhappy (“ex”) boyfriend and driven to a remote cabin in the woods, Milton finds himself drawn into a dangerous love triangle gone haywire in this genre-bending, neo-noir, mind fuck of a movie. The characters’ deadpan half-truths spin around Milton like a song on repeat until a mysterious message opens Milton’s eyes to his cursed existence. With unlimited ammunition, any hunting tool they could desire, and an ever-growing body count, what did Milton really sign up for?

Madellaine Paxson began her career writing children’s cartoons at Walt Disney TV Animation, where she wrote and served as Story Editor on series including PEPPER ANN, KIM POSSIBLE, and LILO AND STITCH.
She moved on to Nickelodeon, where she worked on shows like the mainstream hit, PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR to the cult favorite, MAKING FIENDS. BLOOD PUNCH is Madellaine’s directorial debut and a definite departure from her previous work. She reminds you that it’s not, repeat, NOT for kids. So if you happen to casually glance over her IMDB credits and decide to toss the BLOOD PUNCH screener into the DVD player to babysit your young children, don’t say she didn’t try to warn you. |
